Make America Great Again?
Who said it first? Hillary or Trump?
You might be surprised to learn that it was Hillary and not Trump who first said those words in a presidential campaign.
During Hillary Clinton’s first presidential run she detailed her foreign policy views in Foreign Affairs magazine and suggested, “If we can exercise our power wisely and well, we can make America great again.”
Shortly after Hillary suggested she could make America great again, her husband suggested, “We created more than 22 million new jobs, moved 8 million people out of poverty and turned our economy around. It’s time for another comeback; time to make America great again.”
In fact, back in 1992 Bill Clinton said, “Together we can make America great again, and with your help, your heart, your devotion, and your efforts, we can build a community of hope that will inspire the world.”
