- The amount of time it takes to heal is arbitrary and unpredictable and irrelevant
- If we don’t like the way we are feeling, just wait, it will pass
- There is something magical about letting yourself feel and not judging yourself for doing that
- When we don’t know, the possibilities are infinite
- We can trust the wisdom inside of us, it is connected to and comes from Universal Mind
- The current moment is just fine, perfect in fact
- Our feelings are a product of our thinking, not our circumstances, no exceptions
- Sometimes we are in a better state of mind and little or nothing can bother us and other times our state of mind is low and we can’t see as clearly — and that that is how life works
- Our moods and emotions can and do change on a dime
- There is a beautiful core of perfect inside of us that nothing ever can break
- The universe is made of an intelligent energy that is smarter than the space between our ears and we can trust that intelligence to bring wisdom and possibility
- Surrender is more powerful than control
- The world lives in cycles; up and down and back up again
- Our thinking is not telling us anything about the world, only about our state of mind
- We can wash our hands every morning and start over
- Life is neutral and then we add our stories — no exceptions
- A new minute will always show up and it will be different than the last minute
- The space of no thought feels like a warm bath
- All we need is hope, all we need is love, they are one and the same
- Possibility can show up in the blink of an eye, just as it always has before
- We don’t have to hold on to a habit of worry or upset
- We have a built-in guidance system that provides moment-to-moment decision making
- More often than not, disappointments and struggles, in hindsight, reveal themselves as opportunities
