Talk or Take Action. It is Up To You!

Information is everywhere to quench our insatiable thirst for knowledge, but sometimes we are drowning in the continuous flow of information. When our head is underwater we can easily lose clarity. We end up feeling powerless, at the mercy of the circumstances we are in.

Let’s join Paul & Pablo as they explore the space between information consumption and action.

Pablo is spending time on Instagram in his bedroom. Isabelle is watching the news. Paul is in the sitting room with Isabelle, thinking about how both his wife and son are spending time in front of a screen, consuming information. He cannot help but feel a little bit lonely. He could be watching the news with Isabelle of course but somehow this does not feel right.

You see, last night, he was the one who got caught up on Facebook, in hours and hours of endless discussions about the likeliness of a new lockdown. By the time he was done, his energy felt completely consumed. It was as if he had been waving his arguments around like a pen full of ink in a metaphoric glass of water. And even though his intention was to clarify his ideas by writing down his thoughts, the only thing he managed to do was to cloud the water in the glass. The water gradually became the colour of the ink. It totally lost its transparency. The pouring of Paul’s comments into the Facebook group was not going to make the situation any clearer. Reality certainly is not short of topics to debate but Paul has realized that rethinking the world in this way does not actually change anything in the real world. And when we consume information, we also consume our energy and it is easy to get caught up in the “If I were game”. ..

If you want to know more about that game and feel full of energy again this story is for you !

These short stories are co-created by Isabelle Caratti and Lexie Bebbington. Both are passionate about helping people experience life with more flow, ease, and love.

They look forward to your comments and feedback: (Isabelle) (Lexie)

Have a lovely week and see you soon with Paul and Pablo.
