Have you wondered how much of the modern world has been shaped by people in history who wanted to bone more than one partner?

Our history is driven by two key things — love and procreation. We all know that whenever in a relationship, more than two people are involved, things can get pretty complicated.

Many of the most famous romances in our history were not that simple. Some were love triangles between some very powerful individuals.

After doing a lot of research, I’ve compiled a list of five love triangles that drastically changed world history.

1. The Love Triangle That Formed a New Church

Known as the Lord of Love Triangles, Henry VIII was the King of England. Henry pretty much formed a new Church just for the sake of getting away from his first wife.
