Joseph Stalin was a man who needs no introduction, and not for good reasons. Things would've been quite different in our history had Stalin not been around. He stands hand in hand with Adolf Hitler when it comes to war crimes, murders, atrocities, and horrible policies.
Stalin earned his name as a mass-murdering tyrant and a communist icon. Born into extreme poverty, he rose to power by working his way up the ranks of the Communist Party and became General Secretary, ultimately installing himself as the premier of Soviet Union after the death of Vladimir Lenin.
Responsible for killing millions of people, Stalin is without a doubt considered one of the evilest men in history. Most of his role as a dictator is well-documented but there are some things about him that are not widely discussed.
