Cleopatra VII is famously also known as The Queen of Egypt. She was the successor from the Ptolemaic Dynasty. She struggled and grew to be one of the powerful as well as controversial queens of her time.

Her ruling period was from 69 BC to 10 August 30 BC. After her death, the empire was taken over by the Roman rulers. Being a successful leader, she was surrounded by oppositions and rivalries.

But her ability to lead her dynasty has been a standard to the rest of the empirical generation.

Cleopatra succeeded the throne

After the death of Cleopatra VII’s father, Ptolemy XII, she was the only child to succeed the throne. On 22nd March, 51 BC she, became the Queen of the Ptolemaic dynasty.

Pompey’s son had come with a plea for military support for the battle against Caesar. It was in the summer of 49 BC the attack on Pompey when Cleopatra had sent military forces.

During this battle, Caesar had forced Pompey to leave Greece. This battle between Cleopatra and her brother continued that led her to flee from Alexandria.
