He became a global icon, loved by millions, and went beyond music to become a part of popular culture. Jackson’s creativity, unique dance moves, and charisma on stage made him the most outstanding performer of his generation. He received 13 Grammy Awards and was twice admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

However, the pressures of fame affected his life in a very negative way. Jackson was a man who was in the limelight most of his life, and the pressure that came with it took a toll on his health.
