When we talk about the most shocking espionage story, then the list will never be completed without Eli Cohen’s story.

He was caught by Syrian Intelligence Services for spying for a time span of four years. He did it for Israel.

It is one of the most famous espionage cases in modern history.

Cohen provided an ample amount of intelligence data for the Israeli Army during the years 1961–65.

He secretly traveled to Israel three times. His famous achievement was the tour of the Golan Heights from where he collected intelligence on the Syrian castle.

In 1967, in the Six-Day War, Israeli armies conquered the Golan Heights with much ease.
