When I first began writing about Palestine I assumed that once I could find a fact and verify it, I could simply present it and there would be a little argument against it.

Boy, was I incorrect? I now know that context is important when presenting facts. I want to present verifiable facts. When looked at from different perspectives, any fact takes on a whole new meaning.

I wrote one piece on Palestine and it got over a hundred comments.

Many of them were valid and disagreed with my take on the “facts.” I realized that facts are often viewed from the perspective of context.

I realize now that naming my articles with the subtitle “history without emotion” is a mistake. I write a combination of facts, opinions, ideas, and analysis.
