The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt (and in general — Gaza shares a border also with Egypt not just Israel).

Israel had no control over the Rafah crossing for 20 years. After Israel completely left Gaza in 2005 it was agreed that the Rafah crossing will be controlled by a 3rd party, but Hamas forcibly took over and it was solely controlled by Hamas. The Rafah crossing connects Gaza and Egypt.

Yes, Gaza is connected to Egypt. Shocking, isn’t it?

But guess what? That crossing was constantly closed. Why? Because Egypt doesn’t want Palestinians.
