When we hear of the British Royal Family, the first thing that comes to mind, other than the Queen, is the lavish lifestyle they must enjoy in their equally luxurious and grand palaces. While the Royal family does have a lot of wealth that has been accumulated in the form of real estate, precious jewelry, and arts, it is not as rich as one might think. In fact, there are hundreds of British individuals that alone are wealthier than the Queen herself. From private estates to the taxpayers that also help make the Royal Family’s fortune, this is how the finances trickle down for the Queen and the members of her Royal kingdom.

The Queen owns quite a few private properties that are hers to keep even if the crown was taken away from her. This is real estate that was passed down to the queen by her ancestors back when Queen Victoria first bought these properties around the 1800s.
