Oda Nobunaga is a powerful Daimyo of the Oda clan in the Sengoku Era (1467–1615). He was the first of Three Unifiers of Japan, succeeded by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu.

The Oda clan only ruled Owari at the start. But during the reign of Nobunaga, the Oda clan conquered almost the entire Japan. Hence, Oda Nobunaga has become one of the most prominent leaders in Japan.

Despite being cruel, his military tactics are undisputed. Therefore, I want to appoint several battles that make him a great and powerful military leader in my point of view.

Battle of Okehazama

This battle took place between Oda Nobunaga and Imagawa Yoshimoto, the leader of the Imagawa clan. Imagawa Yoshimoto previously was a sworn enemy to the father of Oda Nobunaga, Oda Nobuhide.

The Imagawa Army has approximately 25000 soldiers while the Oda Army only has 2500. The Oda Army was outnumbered by the Imagawa was tenfold to them. The Imagawa wanted to intimidate Oda by claiming that they have 40000 men.
