Palestine — Just The Facts
What happened? When did it happen? Who did it? Why did they do it? …and what were the results?
Let me start by saying that this is not meant to be a political series. — I’m not “pro” this or “anti” that!
Until the facts are dissected, and the history explored and explained here an intelligent conversation concerning the present-day events in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza as well as the many countries surrounding and involved in the politics of the Middle East cannot be addressed.
So, these Medium.com stories about the geographical area that has been called “Palestine” since Roman times, are not about making definitive statements concerning the modern state of Israel, or the aspirations of those Arabs living in Israel, Gaza, or the West Bank. Nor is it concerned with the Palestinian Arab or Jewish Diaspora (by the way all Jews are not Zionists).
