Who Was Robert F. Kennedy?

Robert Francis Kennedy was an American politician of the Democratic Party. A lawyer, author, and activist by profession.

He was the seventh of nine children of Rose Fitzgerald and Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. and a brother of United States President John F. Kennedy.

In January 1961, he elevated him to the position of justice minister in his government, which put up severe measures against the American mafia. Working closely with his brother throughout the Bay of Pigs Invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis, he contributed significantly to both crises.
