Lübeck District Court, West Germany 1981. Marianne Bachmeier walked into the courthouse with no emotion on her face. She was on a mission; a vengeful mission.

She walked passed a security checkpoint that guarded the courtroom. If the security guards had done their job properly they would have found in one of the pockets of the large coat she wore, a weapon she was determined to take revenge with.

She walked into the half-empty courtroom. Her eyes scanned the room until they met her target; a man who had given her sleepless nights for months. He was seated waiting for the court to begin.

With her hands in her pocket, she stood behind him. When no one was looking, she pulled out her gun and released seven bullets into her target’s back. It would have been eight bullets if the last bullet didn’t go off.

The situation left everyone shocked but Marianne, who was later restrained by two security guards. “Pig.” She managed to say as she views her daughter’s killer on the ground. Dead.
