This fascinating story begins in South Africa. Age 15, Paul Le Roux completed a one-year coding course in just eight weeks. He also got a full-time job as a programmer after turning 18 years old.

Back then, many people said Paul was a genius. But nobody predicted the disastrous series of events that would unfold over the following years…

Paul Started A Pharmaceutical Business Of Questionable Legality…

In 2004, Le Roux launched a business to sell prescription drugs online. Customers completed a short questionnaire, chose their desired medication, and paid by credit card.

A doctor in the United States would then write out the prescription — despite never even speaking with patient’s to discuss symptoms. And according to media reports, doctors received a commission for each prescription they fulfilled.

Paul’s pharmaceutical business was highly profitable and popular. But there was a tiny problem: he refused to pay taxes. The IRS calculated that Paul’s business, RX Limited, owed more than $1,500,000 in taxes from 2005 alone!
