I don’t think there is anyone more hated in the world than Nazis, and the hate is well deserved, for their actions are reprehensible. The world does not look upon ethnic cleansing kindly. The Nazis tried to wipe away Jews from the face of the earth, and they succeeded in killing about 6 million Jews (according to rough estimates). That was 2/3rd of Europe’s Jewish population at the time.

The violence against Jews was nothing they hadn’t seen before; the Jews have always been a historically oppressed group. But the fact remains that the genocide is the darkest hour in their history. The gruesome stories of the Nazi concentration camps from the era of Hitler ring in the halls of history. The Dachau concentration camp is an example of the peak of depravity that the Nazis reached under Hitler’s rule.

History and Precedent

The Dachau Concentration camp was situated in Southern Germany, northwest of Munich, in the state of Bavaria. The camp was the first of its kind and was initially designed to serve very different purposes.
