Sometimes, people aren’t who they appear to be. They wear a mask and deceive those around them by presenting a fake persona to the world, shielding their true nature.

These types of people can come from anywhere, including celebrity circles. Recent history has unearthed several sickening examples of celebrity misconduct, and the following cases are particularly grim.

1. Rolf Harris

Rolf Harris was born in Australia in 1930 and found success in Britain as a BBC television presenter.

After starting out with a children’s show called Whirligig in the early 1950s, he managed to secure his first prime-time television program: The Rolf Harris Show, which started in 1967. His success continued with Cartoon Time (1979–1989), Rolf’s Cartoon Club (1989–1993), Animal Hospital (1994–2004), and Rolf on Art (2001–2007).
