Teenager Case: Two Boys + One Girl = Tragedy
The Cassie Jo Stoddart Case
Cassie Jo Stoddart, a sweet 16-year-old girl, had some guests over. These were Cassie’s boyfriend, Matt Beckham, and two of her classmates, Brian Draper and Torey Adamcik.
Brian and Torey left early, and weird things started happening soon after they left. First, the power went out, and then strange noises from downstairs. Then some of the lights in the house started to flicker on and off.
Cassie got very scared and asked her boyfriend, Matt, to spend the night with her. But, Matt’s mother denied him permission. Matt’s mother, however, offered Cassie a sleepover at their home.
Matt’s mother came to pick Matt up around 11:00 pm. But Cassie chose to stay behind to fulfill her house-sitting duties. And that was the last time Matt ever saw his girlfriend alive.
The Tragedy That Befell on Cassie
On the 24th of September, Cassie’s body was discovered dead on the floor. Torey told the authorities that he had left Cassie’s home with Brian. The two went to see a movie at a local theater. Then they spent the night at Torey’s house. But, it sounded odd that Torey couldn’t remember the movie they had watched that night.
