Nai Yin Xue, 53, a martial arts expert, was not always an abusive man. His marriage to An An Liu remained fairly happy until he, reacting rather regressively, found out that their first child was a girl. Eventually, Yi Xue became so dangerous that An An had to flee to Wellington and seek refuge at women’s shelters to protect herself.
Xue managed to track her down with murderous intentions. Had it not been for her friend’s dog’s loud barking scaring him off, Yin Xue would have successfully killed his wife using the ax that he had specially purchased for the act. He went home without having executed- literally- his bloody fantasy, but not for long.
On 11th September 2007, in New Zealand, Xue strangled his wife with a necktie. He got rid of his wife in a matter of three minutes and unceremoniously dumped her dead body in the boot of his car.
