World War II was a deadly conflict where each country tried its best to come out on top. Whether it was the Nazis that were trying to push their agenda of complete dominance of Europe or Britain that was trying to prevent that from happening, each state did not want to submit to the will of the other. For that very reason, they needed advanced weaponry, and we saw a surge in the technological advancement in warfare during WWII.

While the most famous weapon out of World War II is the atomic bomb, other weapons were also incredibly important throughout the war. Let’s take a look at one fascinating war vehicle: the M4 Sherman Tank, a truly revolutionary and legendary war machine.

The M4 Sherman was one of the most commonly used tanks by the United States and its allies in World War II. It was a significant upgrade over the M3 Medium Tank and had a much more diverse range of attacks in its arsenal.
