Three gliders landed on the garden of a hill resort in Italy. Out of the planes came Nazi Waffen SS men with weapons.

Their mission is to rescue a high profile political prisoner held at the hill resort. The operation was a complete success with no gunshots. It was carried out by Otto Skorzeny, the most dangerous man in Europe, to save Benito Mussolini.

After the fall of France, Italy entered an alliance with Germany and Japan. Italy, under Fascist Prime Minister Benito Mussolini wanted to regain the good old Roman Empire.

For a starter, Italy attacked Egypt, a British client state. With stiff resistance from Britain, Italy was on a back foot, and German sent rescue forces to save Italy. The Axis forces faced defeat in Africa, and the remaining troops retreated to Italy.
