We have worked had to make the app look more visually appealing, by reducing its elements and increasing the number of categories for barter.

The new version would appear more user-friendly to those who aren’t tech savvy. The purpose being successfully fulfilled- to empower all those out there who aren’t as adept at tech related things and make them independent in their usage of barter.

Although, to use the upgraded app with maximum efficiency, we would like to explain the importance of product listings and how they can be enhanced.

• While listing what you need to barter, make sure you write a comprehensive and to-the-point description of the item, as the other individual will consider or not consider the good based on how appealing this description is.
• Similarly, the title is also an important aspect of your listing. The way you word the title affects whether your listing appears in buyer search results.
• More importantly, try and specify what you want in exchange, it’ll leave less room for ambiguity and tell the other person exactly what they need to give in exchange.
• The new version of the app has higher image clarity, thus allowing the users to view the products better, get a more accurate idea of how the particular item really looks and distinguishing one listing from another. Click pictures in natural lighting, and try to provide close-ups.

• Be sure to respond to query messages actively as this will bring your barter product or service into the ‘trending now’ category, making it more visible to app users.
• We have optimised the app to showcase listings based on your location, so you can barter with people around you! Best results are showcased according to your place of barter.
• Further, when contacting someone for a barter, that you have identified on our Let’s Barter India app, make sure you begin the conversation by mentioning the platform, as people do not wish to be contacted by telemarketers or representatives of any random website.
