Jaimeson Taylor graduated as the Valedictorian in 2014 from Southwest High School. Southwest High School is a Law Academy in Macon, Ga. Taylor says Southwest was not a diverse school as there were only four non- African-American students in the whole school during his time there. Taylor said that if he was not a student that always pushed himself in the classroom, he would have not been prepared for college. He stressed that Southwest’s students lack of preparation was not their fault but it may be the teacher’s.
