Macon resident finds success in pet-sitting

Many people think of a 9–5 office job when you ask about a typical career.

However, for Macon resident Betsy Ballard, a typical job includes walking, watching and hanging out with different pets. Ballard runs and operates Pet Nanny Network, a company that does in-home pet sitting.

Ballard and her employees go into their clients’ homes to care for their pets while they are away. The business has been operating for the past two and a half years and has 146 clients.
