Mayor for a day

Kedrick Willis would have a busy day as mayor, aiming to solve both local and global problems.

If you were mayor for a day, what would you do? Macon resident Kedrick Willis said he would have a busy day if he was in charge.

“I’d clean up Macon, end world hunger and try to make it easy on everybody else,” he said.

Willis believed the first steps toward achieving his goals were to clean up Macon’s streets and combat crime in the downtown area.

Willis said that he felt so strongly about these issues because “these are problems that nobody (has taken) care of in a minute.”
