Ethereum Founder joins DOGE?
‘Who let the dogs out?’
Or should I say, ‘Who let Vitalik out?‘
As crazy as it sounds, Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin has joined the DOGE Foundation.
For those of you who think this is a clickbait title, I’ll have to shake my head and say no.
Vitalk Buterin has indeed joined DOGE.
Wait! So did he leave Ethereum to join DOGE?
No! Certainly Not!
Vitalik is still, and I’m sure will always be, with Ethereum. But to figure out what he is doing in DOGE, I did some digging, and this is what I found.
Vitalik has joined the Dogecoin Foundation, not Dogecoin.
Though they sound almost identical, there is a slight difference between the two. While the latter refers to the viral cryptocurrency, the former refers to the non-profit organization that supports DOGE with advocacy and trademark protection.
What is Dogecoin Foundation?
Dogecoin Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2014 with three clearly-defined objectives:
