Contentment feels strange because it’s unfamiliar.

I want this strange feeling to become my new normal.
- waking up to a dawning sky
- sitting down to eat a protein-filled breakfast
- getting a cup of coffee for the road
- attending classes with an awake and curious mind
- taking an afternoon walk by the river
- starting a load of laundry
- doing a brief but fulfilling full-practice yoga session
- eating dinner with friends, chatting and laughing
- focusing for a designated block of time on studying, as planned
- washing up, skincare routine and all
- watching some new releases on YouTube
- setting alarms, dimming the lights, unwinding
- letting go, sleeping
A peaceful happiness.
