Letter about 2020

In Australia, at the very beginning of 2020, forest 🌲 fires 🔥 were escalating, in which more than a billion animals🐺🐵 died, and smoke reached South America. It would seem that heavy rains⛈️ in mid-January have saved Australia from fires.

On January 3, US aircraft threw an airstrike💣 on the area of Baghdad airport and killed the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary “Al-Quds”, Qasem Soleimani. In response a week later, Iran cruelly revenged the death of Suleimani by shooting down a Boeing 737✈️ of Ukraine International Airlines, which took off from Tehran airport, and 176 people are killed.

Later, on January 11, the Meduza’s site posted the news with the headline: “The first person to contract a previously unknown virus😷 died in China.” After 6 months the website contained over 1,000 articles📰 with the word “coronavirus” in the title, and more than 500,000 people have died from the infection in the whole world.

In the United States, a protest erupted after the assassination of George Floyd. Protesters🤺 clashed with the police👮, looters robbed shops 🏪, crowds of people went to the White House. In almost all cities in America, actions against police were taking place (the police themselves began to participate in protests). Following America, Europe🌍joined the protest. Actions were organized in Italy, France, Belgium, and other countries.
