I don’t know if these lyrics were written for me or if I’ve been written from them.

JENNY

Jenny walks into a cave. Nothing inside, but she’ll bring something in.

Jenny walks like a slave. Nothing to hide, but she’ll find herself a sin.

Sometimes old like a tree. Sometimes warm like a coat. She closed her eyes but she can´t sleep. All that silence hurts her throat.

Jenny feels nobody is safe. Nothing is wrong, but she will like the day dream.

Jenny feels what is her fate. Nothing is dead, but she can’t feel her skin.

Like a murderer’s sleep. Like a dog smelling home. With a lie that she can’t keep. Without choice, flying, gone.

Refusing the guns on our heads. Refusing to lie on the floor.

Jenny and I, we’re waiting for the world to end.

Written and performed by artist Max Henrique, sometime in the last millennium. http://www.maxhenrique.com.br/
