I don’t know how I’m going to spend the day at this point, because there’s a troubling disconnect between what I want to do and what I should do. I should study for my ethnomusicology midterm — I still need to memorize the countries and capitals of South America (Do you think there’s a QuizUp for that?) — but I want to write that essay about the Daily Bruin. That’s really why I chose the title/subtitle (or “hed/dek” in news-speak). Being stuck between what we want — to write for fun or go home and sleep — and what we’re supposed to do.
Regardless of what I end up doing, I’m at least comforted by the fact that I’ll be seeing you so soon. I didn’t really have much of an idea for this post other than the aforementioned paragraph (or “graph” in news-speak — seriously). So I’ll end this hear: with an I love you and I can’t wait to see you.
