La Vecchia Napoli
A true Italian story

When it comes to pizza you don’t make compromises. Quality is the main ingredient in choosing your favourite! We ate our first pizza a Marco’s Vecchia Napoli 6 years ago. It was the end of our first year in Leuven and as poor students we found it hard to give our whole night ratio set aside for beer for going to a restaurant.
When we got at Vecchia Napoli it looked full and seemed that we won’t have a spot, but Marco saw us discussing and immediately reorganised everything so that we can sit at a table , we only later found out that he thought we were Italians (lucky)
Years passed and we experienced both sides of Marco.
There is the friendly Marco that will joke with you and make sure you get a great pizza

and Marco that will tell a customer that he is not in the mood to cook anymore are 8PM.
I recommend take away. You have more chances To experience the friendly site of Marco.

Some rules to follow for a pleasant time if you decide to stay
- Before sitting at a table, ask him if there are places available, don’t just sit even if you saw a free table
- Take into account that the schedule is variable and depends of him
- Always order a pizza: you can’t just have a drink, you can’t share one pizza with someone else
Knowing this you’ll do good and will enjoy amazing pizza. Seriously it is really good. I am not Italian or anything but I ❤️ Marco’s pizza a lot.
