It was a matter of time to get to this place, we actually were very excited when we saw how they are promoting it as best Portuguese tapas place in town…well it seems tonight was the night and I got say was not impressed.

We planned to go for pizza but somehow we ended up changing plans and found ourselves on the way to this place.

Although not having a reservation we could get a table for 5 and the staff was very friendly.

The guys as always were very hungry so they decided to go for food food while we went for tapas.

It was hard to choose as the offer was limited and you had to pick 3 in a pack of 3+a glass of house wine for 16€ otherwise one tapa was 8€…ok so looking at the options we went for

  • Cheese +++
  • Ham -
  • Aubergine with peppers +++
  • Scampi ++
  • Tuna pate +
  • Octopus salad +++

Obviously +++ we really liked and a – would mean a disappointment.

Portions are not big so if hungry you won’t get full for me it was the perfect amount.

We also added a bottle of vino verde as we liked it in Lisbon when we’ve been last summer.

Grety got the dorade, not a superior of course 😁 he definitely likes fish 😉

And Hans got a mix…it looooked amazing and apparently it also was very good

After all we debated if we should go for some extra tapas, but looking at the menu it was nothing it was appealing too me but the girls after having the guys agreeing to help went for some mushrooms, calamari and some extra octopus salad.

If the prices would be 25% cheaper I guess the place would be a good quality price ratio, in the current situation I consider it a bit pricey. Even if the food is good and tasty there is nothing to impress you.
