Welcome to this tutorial where we will dive into the process of making your very first trade using the Levana Beta Osmosis Mainnet Perps Swap. Whether you’re new to the world of decentralized finance or a seasoned trader, this comprehensive guide will serve as your step-by-step instruction to navigate this exciting platform. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Navigation

Navigate to the Levana website by typing in the URL: https://trade.levana.finance.

Make sure you have a Keplr or Leap wallet already set up.

Step 2: Wallet Connection

Once you have successfully verified your email, you will be directed to the main interface of the trading application. Look for the “Connect Wallet” option and click on it. You will then be given the option to connect either your Kepler or LEAP wallet from your desktop.

Step 3: Funding Your Wallet

After successfully connecting your wallet, ensure that you have at least one Osmo token and one Atom token on Osmosis Mainnet. Since this is a Mainnet Beta test, real funds are required.

You will need on Osmosis Mainnet at least

1 ATOM token

1 OSMO token

Note: If you have an ATOM token on the Cosmos Hub you will need to bridge it to Osmosis here https://app.osmosis.zone/assets

Warning: Be cautious about the funds you allocate; only use an amount you are comfortable potentially losing. Moreover, ensure that you fully comprehend the Terms of Service and that you are not in a region where trading is prohibited, such as the United States of America, Iran or North Korea.

Please note: during the Mainnet Beta phase, the trading collateral is currently capped at $100 across all positions.

Step 4: Opening Your First Position

Now, let’s open your first position. Select the “Long” option located on the right side of the screen. We’re going to start with a market order.

In the ‘Collateral’ field, input the amount you wish to use to open a position. For instance, let’s say $10 worth of Atom.

Next, specify your leverage; for this example, we’ll go with 30x leverage.

There are also optional fields where you can set a take profit price and a stop loss price.

Once you’re happy with all the details, click on “Open Long”.

Step 5: Approving the Transaction

After hitting “Open Long”, you’ll be prompted to approve the transaction via your Kepler wallet. Proceed to confirm the transaction.

Wait a moment, and voila! You’ll see your first order listed on the platform.

Final Thoughts

There are plenty more advanced features and functionalities that can be utilized on the Levana Beta Osmosis Mainnet Perps Swap. Watch the tutorial video above or join Levana’s Discord community to learn more.

As always, exercise caution when interacting with Mainnet Betas, remembering these are real funds at stake. You can potentially lose everything you deposit, so always position size responsibly.
