Stack Overflow’s 2024 Developer Survey also confirmed that Python remains one of the most loved and most wanted languages across all developer groups: beginners, professionals, data scientists, and AI engineers alike.
But why? What makes Python so universal?
Let me tell you a personal story first.
My journey with programming didn’t start with Python. It began with Pascal — yes, that old-school language that many of us encounter in our early programming classes. But I never really continued with it.
Things changed after I watched a hacker movie. You know the kind — green text, dark terminals, digital rebellion. It sparked something in me. I wanted to be one of them. So naturally, I turned to YouTube and started learning about hacking. One channel stood out and gave me advice that changed the direction of my tech life: “Learn Python. You’ll need it for scripting.”
