1. Choose the colour for the type of your work

Colour influences our mood and working capacity. For example, green is a good choice for most workspaces, because this colour is associated with creative thinking and with positive emotional state.

If you do more knowledge work, it’s important to be relaxed to think clearly so you should choose blue shades. And in opposite if the job demands to be active, red colour is the best decision for your workspace.

2. Your space should be easy to adjust

Fish aquarium or plants can help you to stay focused. Researchers say that if your eyes are tired you should examine a plant for a few minutes. It can help to relax and keep your eyes healthy. These practices can provide a sense of calm that might aid your ability to focus and stay stress-free.

5. Try to be minimalist

Your workspace should be clean and free as possible so try to cut back on room decorations, maybe even furniture. Free space helps to think clearly, because you are not overwhelmed with things and do not feel under pressure.
