Everybody needs to get a daily dose of inspiration to succeed at work. The internet is a great place for this purpose but there are many resources, so you can be confused. Moreover, not all of us have enough free time Internet searching to find the most suitable blog. That’s why I did it for you. Here is a list of websites, that will be great for all professions whether you’re an artist, designer, illustrator, or technical writer.
Colossal
Launched in 2010 by writer and curator Christopher Jobson. Colossal is one of the largest visual art, design, and culture blogs on the web reaching an audience of 2–3 million visitors every month.
Made by Folk
In 2018 Daniel Freytag and Glenn Garriock (with help from Lorna & Patrick) decided to work together and create a platform under the name Made by Folk, a place where cofounders present the world’s best creative talents and work with them on exciting ideas and products.
DesignBoom
DesignBoom is based in Milan, Beijing and New York. It is the world’s first and most popular digital architecture and design magazine. DesignBoom is a comprehensive source with over 45,000 articles worth of useful information and insightful interviews, studio visits, documentation of new products, reviews of exhibitions and books, and historical surveys.
Booooooom
Booooooom was launched in 2008 by Vancouver-based artist Jeff Hamada. It is Canada’s highest traffic art platform, and one of the largest on the Internet.
Over the last decade Booooooom has established itself as an authoritative voice in the new contemporary arts scene, highlighting emerging talents, and launching the careers of many young artists internationally.
Ello
It is an online social networking service created by Paul Budnitz and Todd Berger in March 2014. It was created as an ad-free alternative to existing social networks. Recently, it has pivoted from its earlier Facebook-like incarnation towards a Pinterest-like website showcasing art, photography, fashion and web culture.
Beautiful/Decay
Beautiful/Decay began as a small black and white, DIY, photocopied ‘zine in 1996, releasing three issues in its first incarnation. In 2001, it was resurrected as a full color art and design publication featuring some of the most cutting edge and exciting work by artists and designers from all over the world. Over the years Beautiful/Decay grew a cult following and evolved from a widely distributed magazine to a limited edition book. After releasing 35 printed issues, B/D shifted it’s attention full time to its rapidly growing blog.
Mirador
Mirador is the image hunting work of Say What Studio, graphic design duo based in Paris, France. Founders curate the most inspirational works out there and share them through this collection of projects.

Founded, designed and curated by Ena Baćanović — designer based in Zagreb — Croatia, The Design Blog brings you carefully picked high quality inspiration, featuring works of designers and design studios from all over the world, with the main focus on young designers/ students. Except from the daily inspiration, whole week is filled with different types of inspiring posts and sections that are design-related.
Abduzeedo
Abduzeedo is a collective of individual writers sharing articles about architecture, design, photography and UX. It was founded by Fabio Sasso in 2006 as a personal blog, later growing to become a digital publication with several writers from all over the world, working independently.

This site is for IKEA fans who wants to learn more how to modificate and repurpose of Ikea furniture and products.
Poppytalk
Poppytalk is a creative studio and blog based in Vancouver, B.C. Founders, Jan Halvarson and Earl Einarson combine their communication and media design backgrounds to design product, DIY projects and recipe creations from video hacks to well-edited finds.
