Can technology really help gender equality? According to eige.europa.eu, “the ownership and use of digital technologies have substantial potential for economic empowerment of women and increasing gender equality. Access to the internet and ownership of and access to digital devices can offer additional employment opportunities, income and knowledge.” Technology can help further gender equality and it is important for girls to have access to. Technology offers new opportunities and builds connections which is something our world needs so that everyone can feel equal because with new and better connections people can really learn and see that nobody is above another.
