World Cinema, Inc. (WCI) has come a long way in 46 years. The Houston-based group has established itself as a trusted provider of video, data and connectivity services to the owners and managers of some of the largest hotel and multifamily brands in North America. It is quite evident that the DNA of World Cinema’s success has been a driving force within the company, since 1974.

WCI owes its name to when founder, Chet Dickson, personally hand-delivered monthly consignments of video cassettes to hospitality properties in the Houston region. He developed relationships with property owners and managers by listening to their needs, observations and pain-points and then built a business based on his insights to best address their requirements. Today, the group retains that singular focus on customer care.

“World Cinema is institutionally client-centric,” explains David Goldstone, Senior Vice President & Chief Customer Advocate. “We’ve always understood that our success is intrinsically linked to the success of our clients and so we work hard to listen, learn and communicate.”

Goldstone joined WCI in July 2019 and has since worked with President Tommy Fatjo and the leadership team to strengthen the business and culture within WCI.

WCI serves over 4,200 properties nationwide; has partnerships with Amazon and Netflix; and client relationships with leading flags, REITs and owners.
