The difference between a brand and a commodity is more than price. Here at LG, we speak of a brand promise wherein we make an explicit commitment to our channel partners and customers to do more than just sell a box and wish you good luck.

We believe in the power of partnership — partnership with customers and channel partners but also partnership with other technology brands. As our industry and the technologies we use become more interconnected, partnership becomes commensurately more important. LG devices installed in guestrooms and shared spaces provide an intuitive, high-performing front-end to advanced networks featuring diverse hardware and software technologies from an array of tech partners. This is exemplified by the elegant deployment of LG hospitality televisions with Amazon Alexa and our promotional programs with Clean Remote but there are so many other examples of LG seamlessly interoperating with third-party technology brands.

The same is true of our partnership with channel partners and customers. We have a demonstrated history of developing specialized solutions and programs for the respective groups and with a US-based application engineering and service group in Huntsville, Alabama. With these partnerships, LG is uniquely positioned to deliver on the promise of collaborative solutions. A good example of this is in how several hospitality brands have come to us over the past six months seeking to develop health and safety protocols and communications initiatives with the LG CLOi UV-C Robot. We’re more than pleased to have these conversations because they may result in a better solution and we learn from the experience.

Sometimes the collaboration is with another group from within the LG family. Case in point is our work with LG Energy Solutions. LG Energy Solutions is responsible for innovative, high-performance batteries for EVs, emergency backup systems and home storage/solar applications. Several of our hospitality clients have elected to extend the LG relationship to include battery systems from LG Energy Solutions in their properties. (See The Check In Issue #1: The Sinclair). Likewise with our colleagues from LG Solar, our partnering with groups from within the LG family ensures consistent quality and client care, but also provides economies of scales, greater accountability, and smooth interoperability wherever possible. LG group partnerships are practical and efficient, providing a reliable, single source for procurement and service.
