Before conducting research

We believe this investigation is important because LGBT persons are not well served in education, either by exclusionary curriculums or as to how these LGBT persons are treated by their institutions and its constituents. We want to look at how media presents or represents LGBT individuals and their issues, particularly looking at stereotypes and types of diversity.
