Happy Holidays, Friends!
Wishing you all the best this season.
Hello, fabulous friends!
Before we tell 2020 goodbye, I wanted to wish you and your loved ones a safe and healthy holiday season. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, or something else, I hope you are blessed with happiness and love.
I know this time of year can be tough for many and I know this pandemic has only made things tougher.
Please know that now — and all throughout the year — you are on my mind and in my heart.
Thank you for reading and sharing my work published at lgbtqueer-ies and elsewhere.
When I think back to all that has happened this year, I can’t help but feel appreciation for all those who stood up for equality and the rights of others.
Throughout all the turmoil this year brought, so many of us still showed our power at the ballot box, in peaceful protests, in courthouses, and in public opinion.
Here in the US, we’ve had pro-equality laws passed this year and pro-equality leaders elected. Everyone who spoke out and stood up to help make this possible should be proud.
There is much that needs doing in 2021, but I believe there is nothing we can’t accomplish together with love, acceptance, understanding, and support for one another.
Happy holidays to you and yours!
