LGO Group’s Retail trading platform — LGO EXCHANGE — which offers individual investors a secure, transparent and fair market will go live in the course of the year.

In this context, we are delighted to announce the recruitment of Alizee Rebeyrol and Simon Polrot.

Alizee Rebeyrol is joining the company as Chief Operating Officer of LGO Exchange. In her role, she will be responsible for obtaining regulatory licenses in France, as well as developing a marketing and client support strategy.

Alizée began her career in the banking sector and held various financial analysis, internal control, and compliance functions. She holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the INSEEC Business School (L’Institut des hautes études économiques et commerciales).

After an experience as a management controller in various companies, she joined an innovative start-up where she held the position of Administrative and Financial Director.

Her desire to undertake new projects and demonstrate her ability to bring them to fruition pushed her to pursue a different opportunity. In 2017, she purchased a property which she transformed into holiday accommodation for tourists in Saint-Emilion.

Entrepreneurial at heart and passionate about new technologies, she describes herself as curious, determined and caring.

“Participating in the construction of the exchange is a great opportunity, our choices will determine the success we will meet, there is nothing more exciting! “

Simon Polrot, is joining LGO Exchange as Managing Director. In his role, he will be responsible for defining and implementing the legal, marketing and technical strategy of the Exchange, coordinating the teams, negotiating the strategic partnerships and representing the company in external events.

Prior to joining LGO Exchange, Simon worked as Chief Operating Officer at VariabL, a derivatives trading platform using blockchain technology, and as a consultant on the subject at ConsenSys. He has been exploring issues related to the blockchain, digital assets, and smart-contracts since 2015. He also worked as legal coordinator of the France Strategy report on blockchain and contributed to French Market Authority consultations, as well as French Accounting Authority working groups on the subject.

Simon is the founder of the information website Ethereum France, which is now the reference media on the Ethereum blockchain in France.

In addition, he is the Vice-President of the associations La Chaintech and Asseth, which aim to establish a dialogue between blockchain professionals and institutions, as well as educating the general public. In his previous roles, he spent almost seven years in corporate consulting at Ernst & Young and as an attorney at Fieldfisher LLP.

“I fully embrace LGO Group’s vision to create a fair, transparent and compliant platform and I’m thrilled to join its strong and dedicated team to help them bring this vision to reality. With LGO Exchange, we will introduce both new users and experienced traders to the incredible opportunities created by this new asset class, in a safe and clear way. On a personal level, I have at heart and am strongly committed to building the exchange with the highest standards of quality and the best user experience.”

We are very excited by these additions to the team. Please join us in welcoming Alizee and Simon!
