Peace is an important topic. War leads to tyranny and poverty. The Keynesian broken window fallacy is recognized that breaking your own window and paying yourself to fix it is seen as rightly wrong. The military twist is breaking someone else’s window and getting them to pay you to fix it. This also is wrong.

The above anti-war/peace template links to lots of relevant articles. They are all related to why America and all other countries should be neutral countries.

America needs to withdraw from all it’s foreign entanglements, supporting authoritarian regimes, NATO, non-NATO alliances, militarism, imperialism, and anything/everything making America keep it’s excessive war spending aka the Department of Defense being the world’s largest employed with 3.2 million employees. China and India are close behind with the PLA having 2.3 million employees and the IAF having 1.3 million employees.

War addiction is killing the empires who have this condition. War, intervention, blowback, and war again and the cycles continues. Neutral countries don’t have these problems, but the anxiety caused by war addiction causes people to feel the need to declare war on all perceived bad guys and threats without thinking things thru.

The Doug Stanhope speech above deal with nationalism which is related to militarism and imperialism.

America declared its independence from the British Empire on July 4, 1776, but America needs to declare its independence from the American Empire and related issues mentioned above. Independence from NATO, non-NATO alliances, imperialism, nationalism, militarism, and anything else it need to be independent of for America to be a Libertarian Republic with liberty, peace, and prosperity for all individuals and the whole world.

The National Debt is a huge problem for America and various other countries. Notice Switzerland and various other neutral countries don’t have this issue.

America needs some sort of Swiss Neutrality Treaty or something as well as avoiding the EU, NATO, and organizations like them.

America currently spends 3.3% of GDP on the military. This needs to be cut down to less than 0.6%. Maybe, even to 0.1% or less, but <1% is a good enough goal to start at. War is destructive, tyrannical, wasteful, and worthless.

Libertarianism is based on the ideals of liberty, peace, and prosperity. The above is all about America needing peace to get the other two.
