When the Intifada and Fascism Collide…
Worldwide, the calls for Justice are rising
With Trump declaring that America will ‘own’ Gaza, while Netanyahu stood grinning beside him, the Zionists have finally stopped pretending that Israel is anything other than a US imperial outpost.
The wispy, spray-tanned ballsack that now runs history’s most powerful empire believes he answers to no one. He cares for nothing but his own interests. Indeed, he embodies everything that Israel is, and aspires to be.
We’re in the grip of fascism now.
The coiffed creep’s second-in-command, Vance is now blackmailing Europe into embracing their own fascists, with the implicit threat being that Ukraine won’t have a seat at the negotiating table between Trump and Putin.
Europe, in turn, is rattling its sabers and convening meetings about how best to unite under a military order (as if the likes of the border patrol that is Frontex weren’t already a proxy for a European army).
In short: the anti-democratic imperative at the heart of the neoliberal nightmare has reached its apex.
We’re in the grip of fascism now.
Technocracy is now steering with a jackboot on our throats — as the presence of all the technocratic billionaires at Trump’s inauguration has undeniably revealed.
Palestine is the catalyst
Yes, the genocidal fascist cancer of Zionist and US imperialism has reduced to rubble the homes, hospitals, schools, mosques and entire infrastructure on the deliberately starved people of Gaza, but Gaza in turn is bringing down the US-Israeli hegemony. No longer do we live in a unipolar world.
Sure, this didn’t happen over night…
The economic collapse of 2008 shook faith in the neoliberal delusion. The Libor crisis in banking drove home how institutionally fucked we are. Then there were the civic eruptions of 2016 with Brexit and Trump’s election, indicating that the market rationalizations and promises of social mobility simply weren’t pacifying the people any more.
When COVID came a-calling, it was a clusterfuck of government hypocrisy, community spirit and health, and whether borders could limit the spread of diseases.
But it’s the utter depravity of slaughtering civilians in Palestine, I believe, that is bringing the whole mess to the boil.
Because no amount of technocratic, laissez-faire, liberal politicking is going to put the genie back in the bottle: the morally sane, empathetic people of this world have watched the West and Israel commit genocide in real time.
The empire is exposed. There’s no turning back.
We’re on a collision course
At this stage it’s pretty clear that Zionists and their collaborators are reviled globally.
There have been too many celebrities, too many government officials and representatives, too many TV personalities and musicians, and too many millions of ordinary, humane people, who have marched the streets weekly and shared online, their opposition to the genocide and the colonialism that sustain Israel and the West more broadly.
- Israel is having to advise Israeli Occupation Force murderers on the safest ways to travel so as to avoid being identified and punished in other countries.
- Tiktokers and other civilians are making it a point to seek out and/or confront these IOF killers when they attempt to return from their killing sprees.
- There have been protests globally for well over a year — many numbering in the millions.
- There have been thousands of legal challenges registered with courts the world over. Arrest warrants and civil cases are multiplying daily.
- There are literally thousands upon thousands of hours of recorded material saved to phones, laptops and hard drives around the world, embedding Israel’s crimes firmly in our collective history and memory, indisputable and undeniable. Downloaded and saved, to be reviewed for decades. Inescapable.
This places many governments and leaders in a difficult position because the globalised nature of capital means they are usually inextricably tied to the US and/or Israel.
Meanwhile, the forces for fascism are trying to drag the Overton window further towards normalising hate.
They’re trying to convince us that the natural state of the world is where Might Makes Right and where we must all, individually, be in competition with each other, so that “there is no such thing as society” as Thatcher put it, where society is a myth, according to Reaganomics.
Revolution
There’s more than a whiff of desperation billowing around the billionaires and politicians of the West now.
Many of the so-called “PayPal Mafia” have increased their security detail and eschewed public appearances. Meanwhile the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and of course the US have all brought authoritarian boots down on the throats of the protesting citizens. Musk et al are hard at work trying to assume full control and dominance of the population.
In short: the powerful are scared.
They’re scared because they know the battle lines are being drawn. They understand that Luigi Mangione was the starting pistol, the highest water line so far in a growing, broiling sea of discontent. There is anger at the obvious hypocrisy and inequality, and the sheer injustice of the system, which was truly laid bare for many to see by this ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The empire is exposed. There’s no turning back
A great many people have been traumatised and radicalised by 16 months of witnessing children, families and homes brutally and savagely cut down by fascists with Yamakas. This has driven home, better than any recession or political scandal, why the system needs to be dismantled.
Of course, as with any revolution, there are going to be turncoats and lickspittles, collaborators and traitors. During the second world war Zionists allied with Nazis to see their own little fascist dream come to fruition. Some of the freed black slaves of America went on to own their own slaves. Some natives actually worked with the colonizing Europeans.

But even if we don’t see open battles within the US & Europe, there is a cultural and moral reckoning happening that will see people divided between those who believe in a better world for all, and those who sucumb to despair and are willing to serve the fascists — who only care to make a better world for themselves.
