Ben Franklin — True Father of the United States or Just a Gigolo?

Ben Franklin’s birthday is in January. It is on the 17th to be exact. For someone SO pivotal to the creation of our nation he is surprisingly under-represented in American daily life. There is no celebration of his birthday or states or capitals named after him. His greatness is only memorialized by his appearance on the beloved C-note.
