In a more Libertarian world the force of government isn’t used to force us to get along, work together or to separate us.

While we should have control of decisions over our life, body and property in our individual lives our outcomes are not based solely on those decisions. Other’s willingness to exchange, cooperate and listen to us play a large role In our ability to thrive and grow. This is where culture and norms play a role.

I personally believe in a liberal order where culture and norms allow all peaceful people to coexist peacefully. Where a diverse populace aren’t limited in their potential by the aspects of their life they control or don’t control. This is why I personally speak about tolerance, forgiveness and empathy often and regularly.

While Libertarianism ends at non-aggression I do believe a liberal culture can allow that state to be sustainable once achieved. I do fear a non-liberal culture can corrupt liberal institutions overtime and backslide gains in liberty.

Non-liberalism can appear as attempts to subjugate and divide people for the things they can control (religion, wealth) and the things they don’t (race, gender). I want peaceful coexistence of diverse people living their potential, that’s what I’m in this for.
