People often times try to put up with the things that agitate them but sometimes it can become too much. A person’s frustration builds and a single agitation that isolated seems minor can trigger a meltdown. (The straw that broke the camels back).

The person who melted down is not absolved as they should find better ways to release that frustration which can be challenging. Despite that, the meltdown shouldn’t be seen as a characteristic of entitlement nor indicative of how they’ll behave every-time they are agitated. Even worse, it should not be seen as indicative of the mindset of a group of people. (I’m an individualist, so duh).

The person who triggered the meltdown isn’t absolved due to the overreach of the response, we all make minor small agitations of others everyday often without realizing it. Despite that, we should always try to ease burdens on each other by trying not to agitate if we don’t need to with emotional intelligence, empathy and situational awareness.

Point is, someone having a breakdown should not be an indictment of a group of people and from any angle. We are all just people trying to get by each day and some days are harder than others. Some find others less willing to make things easier that they may build up those straws on their back a little too quick.

Let’s be excellent to each other.
