Why Women Are Obsessed with Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl Outburst

Like many Gen X women, I haven’t watched a Super Bowl since Troy Aikman retired. What can I say? It was fun while it lasted.
However, things changed since I recently became a bit of a Swiftie (just a little one…a Swiftette, you might say). My indoctrination into the clan happened just a few months after the tabloids were buzzing about her new relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
This news held no interest for me. I came to love her simply because clips from her Eras Tour were all over my social media feed and I realized I liked a lot of her songs. Then, after deep-diving into Folklore, I was hooked.
I don’t know who her songs are about. I don’t care who she is dating now. But thanks to my growing interest in her music, the almighty algorithms are suddenly dishing up everything about Ms. Swift.
Unfortunately, that means a lot of scrolling through all the lovestruck fans who are aflutter over Swift’s budding romance with Kelce, as well as every single video of her at one of Kelce’s games.
