Community Focus returns to Venezuela as we meet one of our more senior scholars showing that GameFi is for everyone!
Hey Liberty Gaming family! We’re back with another edition of our Community Focus, where we get to gain insight into the lives of our brilliant members within the Liberty Scholarship program! Every week we get to speak with scholars worldwide and hear their unique stories and backgrounds. We find out how these members came to Liberty, how their lives have changed since coming to us, and what they have learned along the way. Let’s go!
This week we return to Venezuela, a country where our scholar presence is rapidly growing, to meet Daniel, one of our senior scholars within the community. Our fantastic coach, Discord manager and interviewer, Jorge Chois, returns to dive into Daniel’s life and to give you scholarship insights that you won’t find anywhere else.
Jorge: Hello, Liberty Gaming family, we hope you are all doing well! Let’s meet Daniel Hurtado, our guest of the day.
Welcome and good morning, Dan, how are you?
Dan: Hello Chois, everything is going great, how about you?
Jorge: Today it’s an excellent day, thanks for asking, happy to have you as our guest!
Let’s start with some questions for our community to get to know you better.
Tell us, where are you from and how old are you?
Dan: I am from Venezuela, residing in the state of Guarico, Valle de la Pascua, I am 46 years old.
Jorge: Venezuela, the Liberty Gaming Family is growing so fast over there, you guys are all amazing!
Wow, here I was, guessing I was among the oldest! 46 years old, and you are on point with your accounts, amazing, we are again proving that age is not a limitation in our community.
How would you describe yourself in a few words?
Dan: I describe myself as a fighter, responsible, and always eager to learn more.
Jorge: Indeed, you are always active during the coaching session, I am proud of your commitment!
What are your hobbies, your favourite activities?
Dan: My favourite hobby is cooking, and as a part-time activity, I love to watch TV.
Jorge: Amazing, don’t forget to share your recipes on the creativity channel, I bet they rock!
What is your big dream or goal, short or long-term?
Dan: My great goal at the moment is to better equip myself technologically to generate better income and definitively establish myself in this crypto world, which is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Jorge: I am indeed surprised, you have it all clear, that’s priority number one, with all the AAA Blockchain games coming to Liberty Gaming, having a gaming computer is a big plus.
How did you find out about the opportunity to earn money as a Scholar?
Dan: I found out about the opportunity to earn money as a scholarship recipient through Twitter, which is one of the networks I use the most.
Jorge: Excellent, I am glad it brought you to the Liberty Gaming Family!
Why did you decide to become a Scholar, and what makes it important to you?
Dan: I decided to become a scholar from the moment I understood that you can generate income doing something that I like, plus, you meet many people in this community, who eventually become your friends, which is very important.
Jorge: Let’s all fight for that freedom!
How is your work environment within Liberty Gaming?
Dan: My work environment within Liberty Gaming has been the best, the Liberty team does something that very few Guilds do, and that is to interact directly with the Scholars, helping, supporting every day, giving information, and teaching them.
The community is excellent, the guys are always doing their best.
Jorge: I am thankful for the nice feedback!
What are your results as a player now with your current scholarships?
Dan: My results with my current scholarships are positive, advancing and improving every day, the coaching sessions make it so easy for us to achieve the best possible results.
I hope to continue reaping the fruits of this new way of working and to prepare myself for everything to come.
Jorge: Excellent, Dan, I am very happy to hear that!
What was the most difficult for you?
Dan: The most difficult part for me has sometimes been disconnecting a bit from the family, being a scholarship holder requires a lot of our time, but little by little, I organised things, one learns to distribute this time, which balances everything.
Jorge: I agree with you on that one, finding balance is the key and is not an easy task.
Do you like Liberty Gaming’s approach, which is “play to gain freedom in terms of income”?
Dan: I love the approach, playing for economic freedom was a dream long ago, and here we are fulfilling it. Thank you, Liberty Gaming!
Jorge: Thanks to you too, Dan, our community would not be the same without you guys!
How did getting a scholarship change your life?
Dan: It changed a lot, my life took a complete turn, and it helped me to understand the Crypto world a lot more and all the opportunities within it.
Jorge: There you go, we all learn more each day!
Last but not least, what professional recommendations would you give to those who are taking their first steps in our Liberty Gaming Family?
Dan: My recommendation for those who are entering our community is a keyword, responsibility, in addition to respect and commitment. We must understand that in addition to having fun and playing, these are assets for which we must respond very judiciously.
